FILMtech Inc. is an industry leader in the metallized and clear barrier film industry. Our wide web manufacturing equipment allows us to service a multitude of diverse industries and applications.
FILMtech was founded in 2001 as a manufacturer of metallized films for the packaging and converting industries. Our product lines have been developed to service a range of industries and include a variety of film substrates, such as BOPET, BOPP, LDPE, BON and PLA. Markets that utilize our products include balloons, board laminations, construction, aerospace and flexible packaging. In 2017, we began manufacturing the SUNUP® line of reflective and barrier films to supply several new agricultural markets.
FILMtech’s services include precision slitting, wide web metallizing, in-chamber plasma enhancement, R&D lab testing and distribution logistics.
FILMtech is the exclusive North American licensee of CeramAlOx®, an innovative line of clear barrier, aluminum oxide coated films developed by Ultimet Films Ltd. of the United Kingdom.
FILMtech Inc. is accredited with Packaging Materials Certification in the High-Hygiene category with Brand Reputation through Compliance Global Standard (BRCGS), a globally-recognized accreditation program that certifies to the highest of standards in the packaging industry.
FILMtech maintains manufacturing and warehouse facilities on our 18-acre campus, near Knoxville, TN, in excess of 120,000 sq. ft. It is strategically located near major shipping and receiving hubs and is less than a day’s drive from 70 percent of major U.S. markets.
In addition to excellence in manufacturing, FILMtech is committed to environmental stewardship with its ongoing effort to recycle, reuse and reduce.
